| "Ghost Interrupted" Oh how I must walk these halls. I carry my chains, my burdens of failure behind me. My load too heavy. And no lamentations for me yet. My grief of losses and ruins, more heavy than most could tarry. And still no requiem is sung for me. Reduced to hiding in shadows of bedrooms and attics, though I knock around, they hear me not. And again there are none to bemoan me. I search for bright lights and departed dead sisters, only to find dark voids and no invitation. No hats are tipped, no flowers to watch wilt. Some people believe that second sight comes from a near death experience. An N.D.E. Can bring about the ability to see what others cannot. It's understandable. Over and over again we hear stories of people who saw their departed loved ones and the infamous "bright light." It's as if death marks you as "future occupant". Once you are marked, you are able To see as the dead see. You're able to sense exactly as they do. Most religions or philosophies, believe that death brings about instant and omnipotent knowledge, that you realize all of the human mistakes you made and all of the flaws In character, that made you who you were. Catholics call this purgatory. Being "marked by death" or "marked by the spirit world" isn't so far fetched. In almost ever faith we learn stories of celestial beings that come to aid in disaster or relieve the suffering of ill people. As written in the bible we are creatures of free will , both in life and death. It's most comforting to know that we are always within a prayers reach of departed loved ones. Another philosophy on the origin of psychic abilities, leans toward the "inherited." Simply, that you are passed along a gift of sorts from relative to relative. This is extremely common among mothers and daughters. In fact we all have some degree of psychic ability, but it takes education and practice to enhance These natural gifts from GOD. | "Into Spirit World I Go" From illness and further back to woe is me. Into spirit world I go. From matter of gray, to particles of light. From a million dimensions away, they call to me, "come on home little boy, come on home." Into spirit world I go. From mistakes made and lessons unlearned. And with a promise of all knowledge to become mine for the asking. Into spirit world I go. At night, again and again they call me home. I hear them. But obedience is not my strong suit. Into spirit world I go. Down in the delta at a crossroads I stand. One tine in the fork goes to all I have imagined for myself. The other leads to perish. Into spirit world I go. I've made my decision, I'll settle for what's best. I am comfortable with outcomes. Guidelines from National Ghost Hunters Society "Rules of the road" 1- Every member should keep a log of events/times or call them into the central logger- everything needs to be logged, not matter how trivial. 2 - EVP recording should be done in the “background”. 3 - Psychic/Sensitive detectives - Log everything (events, feelings, etc.) in notes or on tape. Do not state observations out loud if the client is present unless agreed to before hand by the on investigation leader. We have found that spirits can hear your thoughts well. They do not need loud encouragement. Best results are achieved when the area being investigated is completely quiet/still. Any witnesses that have not been interviewed before should be interviewed before an investigation starts. Please use the official investigation questionnaire/form. Make no conclusions and share no opinions in front of clients. All the reports, photos and tapes must be reviewed before we can make any conclusion. The founder or co-founder can alter these protocols if necessary. These guidelines will make us look professional and caring to the clients needs. Outdoor/Cemetery Investigation Protocol Meet at designated place on time. Upon arrival gather together and stay together. Get your team and equipment assignment and begin investigation. Keep all logs and records for yourself in a notepad or a tape recorder. When the founders end the investigation, gather back at the vehicles and thank the spirits before leaving the place of investigation. |
